Nowadays, Geographic Information System (GIS) is an widespread tool
that support and is used in many thousands of projects. It consists
of two important kinds of data that are spatial data and attribute
data for which Mapsever is created. Mapserver System bases on web
technology and has the duty of server. It serves and maintains the
integrity of hundred of thousands of records of data, while allowing
concurrent updates and queries. And it transfers the data, when clients
request that have web browser program. Map data is the data send by
Mapserver that has basically two methods to transfer it : as vector
or as bitmaps. |
